The Medical Centre for Seamen Amsterdam has been appointed by the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (domain Shipping) of the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment for the performance of medical examinations for seamen and inland skippers, including the Rijnschipperspatent.
In addition the practice has been accredited for the performance of medical examinations for seamen navigating under the Norwegian, Danish and Swedish flag as well as for those navigating under the Panama and Liberia flag.
We also provide medical examinations for the major cruise companies.
If you want a medical examination you can fill in, print and sign the medical examination form before you come to the consultation hour. Then please bring the form with you.
Please note: To the medical examinations for cruise companies there is occasionally an additional laboratory research necessary.
For efficient execution of the medical examination it is advisible to carry out these tests before you come to the medical examination. For this you can report to any regular general practitioner laboratory. The cost of this laboratory research can not be submitted to your health insurance but must be paid for by yourself.
